# Celebrities with Autism

According to the [CDC](https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/74/ss/ss7402a1.htm), 1 in 31 children are living with autism and [1 in 45](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9128411/) adults are living with the same diagnosis. This is showcased in a wide variety of celebrities with autism, most of whom were diagnosed with ASD as adults. Sharing information about influential or famous individuals who are on the autism spectrum can be a powerful way for a child to embrace their neurodiversity and recognize their own unique strengths.
